The Eggonicer is a high tech egg handler and creature population monitor.

It can handle Norn, Ettin & Grendel Eggs. 
It works by teleporting any eggs it finds to the Eggonicer Cryovat and freezing them.
It checks the creature populations and then releasing an egg one at a time when needed.
By doing this it keeps all the eggs in the world in one place, neat and tidy and as a bonus this will allow you to keep in check over population of any of the three types of creature, especially those bored Ettins that pass the time by ermm, Kiss Popping.  [ Nb. there is no phrase "Eem kiss-pop" anywhere in any of the Creatures editions. Only in this readme :-) ]

Right Click the large Egg Button with the Question Mark to get the main in game help for the Eggonicer.
The Cryovat and Eggceptors all have minor in game help also.


Installing the DS Eggonicer
===========================
Unzip the file "DS Eggonicer.agent" to your "C:\..\Docking Station\My Agents" folder.
If you have the C3 version of Eggonicer in your world, then REMOVE it first!
Then Inject DS Eggonicer with the Agent Injector in the usual way, in the DS Comms room.
Now click the large Egg Button at the top of the display in the workshop, in DS to turn it on.


Removing the DS Eggonicer
=========================
The Eggonicer Display, Cryovat and the 3 Eggceptors can NOT be removed with the remove button on the Agent Injector. It's programmed that way. However there is a more Fun(maybe) way to remove it with the large buttons along the left side of the screen.

Click on the SINGLE CHECK Button (top)  ---   This will automatically light up the other two buttons.
	
You now have a choice of ....

1 ---  Clicking on the DOUBLE CHECK Button (middle) to REMOVE the DS Eggonicer. The eggs will be teleported to the Heatpan. :-(
	or
2 ---  changing your mind by clicking on the RESET Button (bottom) to CANCEL the whole opperation. :-)



Bugs & Mods
==============
Needless to say remove the older version of DS Eggonicer before injecting this one.


This Version v 1.3 is mainly to fix parts of the Eggonicer being Autokilled during a wolfing run

Version v 1.3
-------------
1 - It will now recreate any part of the Eggonicer that is Autokilled for any reason.

2 - Picked up and created eggs now are made smaller once they are in the Eggonicer Cryovat.

3 - The rate at which the Workshop Main Screen is checked to see if it has been changed by the user has now been speeded up.
	A possible cause for the Eggonicer being Aurokilled (see 1)

4 - The Incubator Control has been replaced by a Remove Bodies Control. When on this will remove any DEAD Creature Bodies that
	would otherwise be left in the world until you look at them. When this is switched on the Death Life Event will no 	longer appear.

5 - When the Eggonicer is removed. The Total Population & Breed Limit values were set to the values the game sets when you 	start a new game. But this wasn't correctly shown on the Options Slide-out. They are now correctly displayed there.

Version v 1.2
-------------

1 - Sometimes some of the frozen eggs didn't make it to the Cryovat (usually dropped in the Comms Room in Ds Standalone). This 	made the egg total seem incorrect and could stop the AutoEgg function from making an egg. This only happened when the 	Agitator was turned off, anyone with the Agitator turned on more than likely didn't know about this.

2 - I've changed the way DS Eggonicer alters the Breeding Limit & Population Limit. It can happen that when there are a lot of 	Norns in the world & the Min Population figure is lower for them, that Ettin & Grendel Eggs wont hatch when dropped 	because	there are no slots available. Now these	limits are set high (100 & 102 this should be more than enough) 	to allow for this. All dropped eggs should hatch now.

3 - I've speeded up the animation for the orb when picking up the eggs. So don't blink to often or you might miss it. :-)

4 - I've slowed down the checking for eggs a little.

5 - I've added a few more dots at the end of "Balor Out" at the end of this readme. :-)

and a few other tweaks most of which I don't even notice myself, but thought they were a good idea at the time.

As all of the Sound Files and Graphics (edited or otherwise) are used from DOCKING STATION.
You MUST have DOCKING STATION as part of your world and not just installed to your hard drive.
Either DOCKING STATION STANDALONE or DOCKING STATION DOCKED WITH CREATURES 3 will work. :-)
It will NOT work with CREATURES 3 on its own! :-(

GRENDEL & ETTIN GENETIC FILES ARE NOT INCLUDED!

DOCKED WORLD
------------
If your world is a DOCKED world then all should be OK. NO need to change anything. :-)

UNDOCKED WORLD
--------------
The Grendel & Ettin handling is disabled by default when DS Eggonicer is injected when playing an UNDOCKED world! :-(
This stops the Eggonicer from crashing when the AUTO EGG function is switched on for Grendel & Ettins, when there is no genetic information for these.

But if your world is UNDOCKED and you HAVE Grendel or Ettin Genetic information - ie when you have C3 Installed but are playing an undocked world or have Grendel or Ettin genetic files from another source copied to the "C:\..\Docking Station\Genetics" folder.

Then if you start the game with the UNDOCKED WORLD, inject DS Eggonicer and then press CTRL+SHFT+C to bring up the CAOS Command Line Editor.
Then Type the following in brackets exactly (case sensitive,leaving out the brackets)

 to ENABLE Grendel Handling -	[setv game "DS_Grendel_Genetic_Files" 1]
 to ENABLE Ettin Handling   -	[setv game "DS_Ettin_Genetic_Files" 1]

Then press CTRL+SHFT+C to close CAOS Command Line Editor.

If all goes acording to plan, this will enable Grendel or Ettin handling. If not try again :-)


*****   WARNING   *****
If you do the above and do NOT have GRENDEL & ETTIN GENETIC FILES and click their AUTO EGG buttons then DS Eggonicer will CRASH & BURN!
Remove DS Eggonicer as described above and reinject.
You have been warned!


Egg's made with Clucky's "Eggernator",
------------------------------------
that contain either Grendel or Ettin DDNA will be recognised by "DS Eggonicer" as Norn Eggs. This is not a bug in the Eggonicer Caos as such, but rather the Eggonicer uses the official Egg classifiers to sort the eggs and not DDNA.


Life Event Icon for an Egg Laid
-------------------------------
After injecting DS EGGONICER,the Life Event Icon for an Egg Laid will no longer appear on screen! :-(
They point to the DS Loading Screen when the eggs have been picked up by Ds Eggonicer because the Eggs are stored outside the room system (I think, maybe).  ;-)
This becomes annoying very quickly and the easiest way around this was to remove them all together.
This should be OK as the eggs will be in the Eggonicer Cryovat anyway if your looking for them.
If DS Eggonicer is removed from the world all will return to normal. :-)
